Update on the Goodrich's

Jay had his ankle replacement on June 1st. They, also, moved his heel over, a little. They put stainless steel in his ankle & two screws under his foot where they moved the heel. He uses his crutches very little. Most of the time, Jay is in a wheelchair. He is doing very well. We have had grandchildren spending time with us to help with Jay. Avery came first, then Jaxx, Avery & Emily (who is spending the summer with us), & Kaylee has spent a few days with us. They are so helpful! They get everything ready for grandpa to shave, sometimes they fix breakfast & help where ever needed. It has been so helpful to me. We really enjoy having them around. We play games a lot. They keep Jay entertained. Hopefully by September, we will be back to normal (what's normal?).

Emily works for Mica, Bret's wife, so Mica can help Bret at the shop. Kaylee will be in the 10th grade this coming year. Mike's basement flooded a week ago. We have had a lot of rain. I really like the rain! The grandkids are fine, just as cute & sweet as ever.
